Frequently Asked Questions

We get it – digital marketing can be intimidating. We’re here to answer any questions and make it crystal clear – so that you never have to worry about where your money is going.
Is Hoopless a marketing agency?

Sort of. We like to think of ourselves as an alternative to the traditional marketing agency. We founded Hoopless because we saw a lot of problems in the industry and a desire for something different. Instead of rate cards, upselling, salespeople, and generic packages built to scale – Hoopless runs the polar opposite. We work the way you do, we don’t have long confusing contracts, and we operate under one flat fee that covers any marketing service you may need or want from us. We believe this offers simpler terms and ensures our efforts are always aligned with your ultimate goals.

What does Hoopless do best?

While we do a lot of stuff, everything revolves around organic visibility. From beautiful custom websites built for engagement, building authority through digital PR, or running digital ad campaigns to boost branded search: we apply leading edge strategies alwyas aimed at driving organic growth and ultimately appearing for the most competitive queries on Google. showing up on Google for the terms that turn into customersunderstand the convenience of full-service agencies, but the truth is that many digital marketing specialties are extremely complex – you know the old adage: “jack of all trades, master at none.”

While we can fulfill most digital marketing needs, we prefer to be realistic and transparent: we shine in organic growth. Specifically, Local SEO & Web development. Hoopless was the result of a merger between a Local SEO company and a Web Design company. From building a custom WordPress theme to ultimately getting found on Google for “near me” searches – we help businesses improve margins and hit their goals via organic business growth. For many clients, that actually means a reduction in ad spend – not vice versa.

PPC vs SEO?

There are two ways to appear on Google: you can pay for traffic, or you can build a strategy to rank organically. PPC, or pay-per-click, is commonly used to refer to Google Ads. With Google Ads, you pay to play. If you stop paying, the traffic and customers come to a halt. SEO, on the other hand, are efforts to rank your business on Google without paying for the traffic. Compared to PPC, SEO typically has much higher margins. Plus, if you stop investing in SEO, that traffic doesn’t disappear overnight. Businesses can sometimes continue to get that traffic for months or years!
